What delays can arise during repairs?
  • The insurance company engineer may need to inspect the vehicle.
  • Parts may be on back order from the manufacturers.
  • Additional parts may be identified during the course of repairs.

  What payments am I responsible for?
  • Insurance Excess
  • Contributions (Insurance companies may charge for the replacement of worn items e.g. tyres, exhausts etc.)
  • VAT if you are registered.
  • Any damage caused to the courtesy car / valeting of car If returned excessively dirty / any extra fuel consumption not sanctioned by ourselves.
  • Additional private work as requested by yourselves.
  • Any costs under the Road Traffic Acts (Speeding Fines etc)

  Will the insurance company approve all items of repair?

  We are only able to undertake the work authorised by the Insurance Company’s.
  If you disagree with the engineer’s decision, it is important that you contact your
  Insurance Company immediately.


  Can I choose when I have my car delivered?
  Upon completion of repairs we will agree on a mutually convenient time within reason.

  Will I receive a courtesy car, and is there a charge?
  As long as you are permitted the use of a car from your insurance
  (as stated in your contract), you will have the use of one for free.

  What do I do if the courtesy car breaks down?
  The Tax disc holder has a helpline number to ring.

  What fuel do I use, and is a refund available for unused fuel?
  All our cars use unleaded petrol and no refund is raised in respect of fuel.

  Will you Mot/Service my car?
  We are an accident repair centre, we can only recommend a Garage for you.
